Studies and Career

He studied at the Conservatorio “G. Martucci” of Salerno with Ilie Ionescu, the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole with distinguished musician Natalia Gutman, the Tibor Varga Academy in Sion with Susan Rybicki Varga and Xavier Phillips, and the Menuhin Academy in Geneva with Pablo de Naverán and Gábor Takács-Nagy. He holds a Master’s degree in Pedagogy from the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Performance under the guidance of Asier Polo.

Alessandro Parfitt is a prizewinner of both solo and chamber music competitions, including the International Concerto Competition in Brescia and the Bracigliano Chamber Music Competition, and forms a stable duo with pianist Lorenzo Traverso, with whom he is actively engaged in chamber music performance.
