Along the musical journey
He studied at the Conservatorio “G. Martucci” of Salerno with Ilie Ionescu, the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole with distinguished musician Natalia Gutman, the Tibor Varga Academy in Sion with Susan Rybicki Varga and Xavier Phillips, and the Menuhin Academy in Geneva with Pablo de Naverán and Gábor Takács-Nagy. He holds a Master of Arts in Music Performance (12 June 2026), principal teacher Asier Polo Bilbao, and a Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy (13 June 2024), both awarded by the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana / SUPSI, Lugano.
Alessandro Parfitt is a prizewinner of both solo and chamber music competitions, including the International Concerto Competition in Brescia and the Bracigliano Chamber Music Competition, and forms a stable duo with pianist Lorenzo Traverso, with whom he is actively engaged in chamber music performance.
